We sell ONLY to resellers of mosaic tiles. WE DO NOT SELL RETAIL to anyone. We do not discuss pricing over the phone with anyone. Way too many times our pool companies customers misrepresent themselves and try to sidestep their pool company. This will not happen.

Many of our customers are on a net 30 payment schedule. New customers desiring to be on a net 30 must first place 3 orders on a COD basis or pay by credit card. We accept Master Card and Visa. After three orders the company upon request can be placed on a net 30 status. We will also request that customers that pay by check have a credit card number on file. Please be mindful that net 30 means payment will be received in 30 days or less from time of receiving the product. After 30 days we will fax or mail a late notice. If the balance is not paid after 45 days it will be placed on the credit card we were given on file. In the event that this card is rejected by any reason we will add 15% late fee and turn over the account for collection. Please understand that we are a small company. We understand that you were paid for the mosaic and all that we want is to be paid for our product.

Products may be returned to Degroot Studios only with prior approval. This must be done in less than 30 days after the purchase of the product (30 days or less from date of signature on UPS records). The customer will arrange for shipping for any returned product. At the discretion of Degroot Studios there is a 20% restocking fee. It is up to the customer to properly pack the mosaic for return and credit will only be given if the product is returned in resalable condition. After 30 days NO RETURNS WILL BE MADE. NO EXCEPTIONS.

Open all packages upon receiving. All damaged goods must be reported to Degroot Studios within 5 days of receiving the package. At the discretion of Degroot Studios Inc we will at no cost of the customer either send replacement parts or replacement of the entire mosaic. We will not pay for shipping levels above ground. Returning damaged goods without replacement of parts or entire replacement are subject to the rules of any other mosaic.

In many cases products that are ordered before noon will ship the same day. This is dependant upon whether the requested mosaic is in stock. Mosaics that are in stock and ordered after noon may or may not ship the same day but will ship the following business day.

During our summer season and the high demand it brings we are not always able to keep our most popular items in stock. In the event the mosaic that you have ordered is not in stock we work hard at keeping a 3-5-business day turn around and 5-7 business days may be required in extreme cases or for some of our larger mosaics.

It is possible to change the color of the tile in your mosaic. It is easiest to substitute colors from the colors of our product line. These are tried and true colors that we are familiar with and most accustomed to using. We do understand at times you may want us to produce a color not seen on our mosaics. This is more difficult, but with a sample we will try. This can be a time-consuming process. In either case there is a 20% mark-up with a minimum additional charge of $50 for the custom color. If the color is a substitution it can be done in 5-7 business days. If we are attempting to match your sample this will extend the time. Once all parties are satisfied with a match the mosaic will be processed in 5-7 business days.

Degroot Studios Inc is a tile manufacture. We are in no way responsible for the installation of these mosaics. The mosaics should be installed below your local frost line by a tile professional. It is our recommendation that you contact your pool contractor for more installation information. We are experts in production ceramic tile mosaic inlays. Please see a tile installation expert for installation.

We are very capable of producing custom mosaics. Upon request we can either e-mail you a few examples of our work or we can mail you a DVD that can be viewed by you and your pool owner. It is the responsibility of our customers to produce USABLE ARTWORK. Useable artwork is artwork that is a camera ready, high resolution copy that fills an 8.5 by 11 inch sheet of paper. Low resolution pictures downloaded from the web will not work. When we make our patterns we blow up your art work to the desired size. If this blow up produces a rough or blurred image it will not be possible to reproduce your mosaic. Some good examples of usable artwork is the artwork used in printing, bumper stickers, refrigerator magnets, embroidered patches and in some cases pictures from a digital cameras. We replicate not design. Also remember, it takes size to get detail. Simple logos will have to be at least 3 feet and often 4 feet in order to look good. We do not like to do anything over 6 feet.
